Well, This is my short review again. This time I will review DMEHosting, First month it was run smoothly until I decide to moving all my sites into DMEHosting, the problem coming next month after I pay my billing for 3 months (usually I billed per month to make sure they give me the best service as they promise in their promotion). DMEHosting started complaint to me ,they say I used to much CPU resource on their budget VPS (this package sucks) and I decide to change apache into lighttpd. Neither the problem was not done yet they keep contact me and said I used to much resource I contact them back and asking to them are this VPS not isolated to affected their other client.
Their answer is really make me recommended to all of you to don’t ever try to use DMEHosting service. How can this VPS not isolated to other? this mean it’s not VPS but only shared. I complain back and they sorry for can’t isolated my account to affect the other. This is maybe the stupid company ever I faced, how they can claim it was VPS if it not isolated, True?
I know this might only their billing strategy to make me upgrade my package, and right they offer me cheap dedicated server but I’m really not interesting. Why? All of my sites only a small sites and not grown really bigger so I’m not really need this dedicated server, hostmonster can handle all my sites and sure I recommended to all of you to used hostmonster. I decide to leave DMEHosting and let people know my experience with them.
This problem make me lost traffic. This all you must know don’t ever have downtime for your website/blog or you will lose traffic and maybe index. This happen to me but I hope it will fixed soon because my sites are back and running again if not I will contact google. Take a look on this traffic data from one fo my site’s…
You can see in this data I lost around 60-70% traffic affected by this downtime from DMEHosting (around 12 hours) This issue should be and option for you before you choose an hosting company go for hostmonster/hostgator I guarantee you will sattisfied with their hosting service, other? try at your own risk!
Have a good day everyone

Unfortunately when you are paying Budget VPS prices we will not tolerate you to use Dedicated Server CPU resources. Instanto website was killing one of our nodes and causing our clients to complain, which we had to take action and suspend your VPS. There was no downtime on the node and for any other client, it was planned downtime on your VPS to keep our clients from leaving us. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 visitor or 1,000,000 visitors, 1 poorly configured website can bring down 1 server or even a cluster of servers with just ONE visitor.
If you are wanting to use that can CPU resources for $5.95/mo then you will have to get a Premium VPS or a Dedicated Server.

All of our Budget VPS Configurations:
Core2Quad 8200, 9300, 9500 (All new Budget VPS’s have been Core i7′s!)
Ram: 8GB, Core i7 servers have 12GB of triple channel memory
HD: 2x1TB Raid 1
These specs are more than what most “other” companies have.

Hello David,
No need to advertise in my blog about your server. The reality is your hosting company worst compare with hostmonster/other. I didn’t recommended people to buy hosting from your company because you to easy suspended people account without look on the affect by that action, even if it just little you should take attention on it.
Calm down, no need to speak hard people will know your hosting company better if you serve them better right? I just want to give you explanation about VPS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_private_server
“a VPS generally has limited processor time, RAM, and disk space”
Your VPS is not limited on processor time, that’s why it’s affect other when there some huge site/bad configuration. I have friend sell VPS on fantastic-vps.com and it’s actually limited per account, even you run anything it will NOT pass maximum VPS rules per account, that’s the real VPS.

I have been with DME hosting since 3 month.
Pros :
-Cheapest vps ever found
-Support reply is Very fast.
-Uptime is very good.
Cons :
-Slow Machine….Need 5 minutes juts for reboot vps and sometimes my vps stuck on the process so i need to open ticket.
-Overselling For Sure….Your vps must reboot every days. if not in the second or third day your vps will be 100% Frezzed guaratee and you must open ticket to help reboot your vps.
-Sometimes Network is slow like hell, i guess because they cheap and over selling.

We’re on their premium servers, and never got any problem. Though, they have little downtimes 1 or 2 minutes everyday. Overall, I’m satisfied with their service.

Their budget are cheap, but slow vps. Been on with them
on a budget vps. Hardly use it & my vps is down 3-5 times
a month. Bought it and never really use it nor even log in.
Had a domain up with it and that all. Had traffic at all, but
only a few. Use only about 50mb-300mb bandwidth only. & already
have down time. That truly sucks. No body like slow over selling
vps + the 3-5 time downtime in a month.

Ive been using their shared hosting for about 1 year and then switched to an unmetered dedicated server. Only had a small problem with migration, and a couple of downtimes but not a big problem.

This is my list of good shared hosting and bad shared hosting based on personal experience and friends recommendation:
BAD HOST (not recommended)
1. JustHost (cheap as server and service they provide)
2. DMEhosting (you know it)
3. WebHostingWorld (good support, but today they server specs really suck, some friends reported they hosting got suspended and no refund)
4. BlueHost (friends reported he’s got many SQL downtime)
5. HawkHost (friends reported he’s got suspended without warning and they not giving solution)
GOOD HOST (recommended)
1. HostMonster (personally already used it for around 3-4 years)
2. HostGator (great server performance, can host adult site)

DMEHosting is crap.
Their VPS goes down several times every month.
Pinging doesn’t work too
Online support is usually always offline & useless.
Submitting ticket & waiting for long is usual practice.
Just quit them.

Forgot to add , NO Phone support, you are helpless if they don’t fix or reply to your ticket.
They have outsourced support to answer support ticket.
It seems they are not physically present in data-center & they control remotely.

@rav: move your files to hostgator VPS, you will satisfied with them I guarantee!
